Update on Bathroom101

Oh well, it's Thursday.

Not sure what to do with a Thursday, other than it's a school night. But then again, every night is a school night. My thesis is starting to come together in my head. Just need to get it on paper now. Bathroom is almost finished. Only been two weeks. Just remembered why you shouldn't have family do the work.  hey take F O R E V E R.  Love 'em!

OK. So here we are on Sunday. I have a lot of articles for my paper, just haven't started a rough draft yet. Got too much on my mind right now. But, that's no excuse. I just wanted to whine a bit. Never do it, so I thought I would try.  No, don't like it. Not a whiner.  Wino, yes, whiner, no.  :p)  Yes, I do love my wine. This was my 50th birthday party. No, I don't really have rosy cheeks. Enjoy the pic. Not too many of them.

Thesis Statement

Just not sure why I can't write this one yet. I know what I want to say, but it just won't come out of the brain. I'm going to sit down tomorrow night and read a few more articles to get something going. I'm rather passionate about Cerebral Palsy but never did any research on it. Let's see what a solid good night sleep will do.

The Renovation Starts Here.......

OK. Into day #5 on remodeling my bathroom.  Getting very tired of sweeping, cleaning out the tub of "crap" that has been scraped off of the walls. But, knowing that it's starting to come together makes it all worth it. I have a very old house and the bathrooms are set back in the 50's. Small 3" square tiles on walls AND ceiling. UGH!!

Decided to use some of "Mom's" money to fix it up. If it works out, the first floor bathroom will be next.  The Saga Continues.......

Monday Monday. so good to me
Wow, where did the weekend go?? Hope everyone had a great couple of days.
I'm in the middle of demolition on one of my bathrooms. New floor, walls, light fixtures, etc...  Boy, what a mess. I'm not one for constant kaos, but that is what's been going on since last Thursday. Got my nephew doing the work before he heads back to school. Can't wait for it to be done.

I just love this picture. My "great" niece and my dog.

This is my niece in from New Orleans along with her little one, Isabella. They were just up in Chicago last month. She gave us all some happy news. "We" are expecting baby #2.  Isabella has named "him" Tokyo Joe. Not sure where that came from. But, for the next 7months, we refer to new baby as Tokyo Joe. Just love the innocence of a child.

And, of course, there is my big baby, HerShe Barr, sitting by my niece.
